During your first session, we will discuss your concerns, goals for therapy, and any questions you have about the process. It’s an opportunity for us to get to know each other and create a plan that suits your needs.
Do you offer online therapy sessions?
Yes, I offer virtual therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families in Seattle and throughout Washington State. Online therapy is conducted via a secure video platform. In-person sessions are available in Bellingham, WA.
How long does each therapy session last?
Sessions typically last 50 minutes, though extended sessions are available upon request.
What types of therapy do you offer?
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy.
What are the fees for therapy sessions with Dr. Craft?
The cost of therapy sessions varies depending on the type of session and length.
Individual Therapy Sessions:

Do you accept insurance?
I do not currently accept insurance but can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. I also offer sliding-scale fees to ensure affordability.

What is Dr. Baine Craft’s educational background?
Dr. Craft earned a double major in Psychology and English from Mississippi College in 2001. He went on to complete a Master of Arts in Experimental Psychology in 2004 and a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology in 2005, both from the University of Montana. In 2025, he earned a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy.
What is Dr. Craft’s professional experience?
Since 2006, Dr. Craft has served as a university faculty member, holding a joint appointment as Professor of Psychology and Biology. He is also the primary investigator in the Learning and Cognition Lab. He has chaired both the Undergraduate Psychology Department and the Master of Science in Research Psychology Program and is currently the Division Lead for the Applied and Behavioral Sciences.
What are Dr. Craft’s areas of expertise?
Dr. Craft specializes in choice behavior, decision-making, and cognitive and behavioral neuropsychology, integrating his research expertise with clinical practice to support individuals, couples, and families.
His clinical specialization includes anxiety, OCD, neurodiversity, adolescent and emerging adult development, sexual health, and relationship dynamics. Dr. Craft is also experienced in working with clients navigating major life transitions (especially college students and emerging adults), relational challenges, and identity development, offering a compassionate and structured approach to healing and personal growth.
He employs evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients develop coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and foster healthier relationships.
