My Approach
My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy. My work is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and culturally sensitive.
In my couples and sex therapy work, I draw from contemporary, evidence-based couples and sex therapy approaches including Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and The Gottman Method, as well as AASECT-informed principles that emphasize emotional safety, attachment, communication, consent, embodiment, and meaningful sexual connection.
I understand that seeking therapy is a significant step, and I strive to create a welcoming, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and supported.
